Red Velvet’s Yeri Cast in Drama Adaptation of “Inside Men” After SM Departure, Joins Song Kang-ho in Star-Studded Lineup

According to an exclusive report from iMBC Entertainment on May 29, Yeri has officially joined the cast of the upcoming series, which is being produced by HYBE Media Corp and Plus M.

The drama will expand on the world of the critically acclaimed 2015 film Inside Men, a political thriller that tackled corruption, betrayal, and power struggles within South Korea’s elite.

Set during the 1980s and 1990s, the drama aims to delve deeper into Korea’s politically volatile past, blending real historical backdrops with a fictional web of intrigue.

Directed by Mo Wan-il, best known for The World of the Married and The Frog, and penned by Lee Ki-cheol, the writer of Escape from Mogadishu and Assassination, the series is backed by some of the industry’s most respected creators.

Yeri will share the screen with an all-star ensemble cast led by veteran actor Song Kang-ho, along with Lee Sung-min, Shin Seung-ho, Soo Ae, Koo Kyo-hwan, Lee Moo-saeng, and Kim Ji-yeon (Bona of WJSN).
